                                  TUMBLEDRY THEATRE

 

TumbleDry is comprised of John  Rushton, Maxwell Tyler and Joshua Littlewood. Meeting at the University of York through collaborations in various performing arts. They wrote, directed and acted in a number of plays and pantomimes together as well as The Shambles Improvised Comedy Troupe, both in York and at the Edinburgh Fringe. 

MAXWELL TYLER

Maxwell trained as an actor at Drama Studio London, and has recently finished performing in Man and Superman at the National Theatre. Whilst at the University of York, Maxwell met John and Josh through various performing arts socieites. Maxwell has performed and directed improv comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe, alongside John and Josh, and currently tours the country with Comedy Dining's Only Fools and Three Courses.

JOSHUA LITTLEWOOD

Josh studied an MA in Digital Film and Television Production at the University of York, where he met Maxwell and John. He became heavily involved in the DramaSoc, teching and acting in shows as well as being elected to chair of the Pantomime Society. Upon leaving York he worked as a Producer for Diagonal View Media, producing their AllTime10s Youtube channel and working for GoodWorks Organisation creating charity films for screening at the Houses of Parliament. 

JOHN RUSHTON

John directed TumbleDry's debut production Timothy/Monkey at The Drayton Arms, alongside Maxwell. He has since gone on to direct The Wonderful World of Dissocia, Trilogy of Horrors and The Soldier and Death. John has received acclaim for The Tulip Tree and Soulless at The Drayton Arms. He has extensive experience performing as an actor and directing. His work at Edinburgh University includes The BFG, The Elephant Man and Dracula.
